Polkadoodles Timeless Rose collection + Birthday Giveaway
On Wednesday 8th January the beautiful Timeless Rose Collection from Polkadoodles was launched on HOCHANDA. This really is a wonderful collection and although would appear to be yearning towards Valentine's Day, it crosses over in to many other occasions: wedding, anniversary, baby, scrapbooking, album making to name but a few.
Below is my first demo using the "Me and You" & "Everlasting Sentiments" clear stamps plus the Sweethearts stencil ...
MY PROJECT
I began by using the wonderful Sweethearts Stencil coloured with Magenta Ecoline pen. Once dry, I stamped & embossed the breath taking heart image.
Using the same coloured ecoline pen, I went around the outside of the stamped image, pulling out the colour with a paint brush. Once dry, I used my Sakura metallic & stardust gel pens in gold, to add further depth.
On a separate piece of card, I again stamped & embossed the heart image, cutting around the outside. It was coloured with the same colours as the main image. Once the colouring was complete, I added to my card with 3D foam.
The heart has been stamped with clear ink & embossed with gold detail powder. Using the heart die from Squarey Swirly Hearts die set, I cut the stamped image out. On a piece of card, I stamped my sentiment and added both to the main heart image.
A quick doodled border using my Sakura pens, adding highlights with white gel pen & a few black dots with a micron pen.

Well I'm another year older today and when working at school, the tradition was to bring cakes or goodies in for everyone.
