Polkadoodles Mother's Sentiment clear stamps to make one layer card + matching tag & envelope
Following a demo I did on Hochanda recently, show casing the Mother's Sentiment stamps from Polkadoodles, I have used the same idea(ish) to share how to make quick, one layered card, tag & matching envelope. I really did also try & create a design that could be batch made if you are a crafter who sells their cards.
What is slightly strange about my projects is that I would have appeared to have embraced the white space! There is also made a step by step video, showing how each were made - see below.
MY PROJECT
I began by cutting myself a heart shaped aperture the same size as my card blank. Using this, I have then stamped my design using a range of the stamps - from Mother's Sentiment clear stamp set - plus a selection of coloured ink pads.
Next, to outline the hearts, I have used Nuvo water colour pencils & a water brush. This gives your eyes a focal point on the card, tag & envelope.
I used my stamping platform for the sentiments. This way I could make them as dark as I wanted by repeat stamping.
I'm quite chuffed with the envelope because who wouldn't want to receive it via the post declaring their love for you. Also gotta say ... I managed to do a CAS design - a goal of mine for 2020.

Whilst making my card, tag & envelope, I videoed myself. After a wee bit of editing, I have managed to get the video down to 6 minutes in length. That doesn't mean I have fast forwarded sections at the same pace as the speed of light ...!
ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS COLLECTION
The Mother's Sentiment clear stamps is part of the "All about the girls" collection. However all elements from the collection can be bought singly.

The main "Mum" sentiment is from Mother's Sentiments by the smaller "Love You" have been taken from "All about her" clear stamp sentiments.
