Repeat stamping technique with Polkadoodles Bright & Breezy clear stamps.
Sometimes we forget the wonderful smaller stamps & how they can grab the same "limelight" as the larger images. The card I am sharing today has been created using two of the smaller stamps from "Reach for the Sky" clear stamp set from Polkadoodles.
Reach for the sky, Forest Floor & Perfectly poised are part of the Bright & Breezy collection. You can each stamp set individually, choosing the one that "sings" to you creatively the most. See below for more details or if you can't wait, check out the collection HERE.
MY PROJECT
I began stamping out a few masks for the flower from a sticky note. Starting in the middle of my card, I began creating my flower filled background.
Once I was happy with all my flowers, I added a few leaves along the top edges. On a separate piece of card, I stamped 7 extra flowers and a selection of leaves. All have been coloured very naively as I wanted the flowers to stand out for being flowers and not for my colouring. Does that make sense?
To tie in my colour scheme, I coloured a scrap of card with the same colours I used on my flowers. This was added to the side of my card blank. When stuck in place, everything just blended together, so I added a thin strip of black card.
The sentiment has been made using 3 stamps from the wonderful Super Sentiments clear stamp set - 49 individual stamps in total! The sentiment has then be mount on to black card and added to the front of the card.
BRIGHT & BREEZY COLLECTION
This collection is made of 3 individual stamp sets: Reach for the Sky, Perfectly Poised & Forest Floor. The stamp sets can be bought as a complete collection or individually. See the collection HERE
CHALLENGE TIME
Right, my challenge to you, is to look at any stamp set you have and choose one or two of the smaller elements. Using those stamps, create a project with just those stamps. You can add any sentiment or die cut but the main focal point must be the smaller stamps. post a link to your project here on or on any of my social media pages. All links are above. As for a prize; I will gather together some crafty bits I have around the place & will give them away.
Hope you are keeping yourselves safe & if in isolation, finding plenty of things to do.
Take care everyone,
Lou
