Sakura Koi Brush Pens on a Gelli Arts plate
A little time ago, I had great fun playing with my Sakura Koi Brush Pens on a Gelli Plate. It was part of a demo I created for Sakura for Hochanda TV. I love my Sakura Koi Brush Pens and use them alll the time in my card making, journaling & wanted to see how I could use with my other favourite crafty supplies - this time a Gelli Plate.
In the demo, I show how I have used the Sakura Koi Brush Pens and how I used my demo background sheets, which were essentially just me playing on card.
MY BACKGROUND TAGS
In the demo, I simply used a piece of mixed media card with the Sakura koi Brush Pens with the Gelli Arts plate. Whilst the inspiration was flowing, I turned this mish mash background in to 3 tags ... actually now 1 card & 2 tags.
I used the Sakura Koi Brush Pens directly on the gelli plate & also spritzing water. It was great to see how you could change the intensity of the colours by changing your crafting style.
I also used the Sakura Koi Brush Pens with my stamps to create cool, multi-coloured outlines & whilst the ink was wet, water coloured the images out.
Finally I used the pens to colour: dry blending & water blending. The colour intensity of the pens is superb and I think my favourite, favourite thing, is that I can dry blend but still get the look of water colouring.
