Creating a quick, single layer card using Picture This Stamps

I have the great honour now of working with Nigel & Andi from Picture This Stamps. I was sent a host of wonderful sets to play with but the Little Vehicles 010 stamp set caught my eye straight away: so querky & original.

I wanted to use as many of the stamps as possible on my card but also create my card as quickly as possible ...

MY PROJECT

I am working on a DL card base and stamped my images straight on to the card working in a row formation.

Next I die cut a small circle from a piece of scrap card & using distress inks began adding my spot light highlights. For the larger car, I did colour the main body with blue first, to add greater impact.

Finally I created my sentiment - Worms Love & Pride set - stamping on to a piece of vellum, which in turn has been mounted on to a piece of white card. I offset the sentiment adding to the front of my card.

A really quick project and one of those that you could batch make with.

PICTURE THIS STAMPS

Picture This Stamps have a wonderful style and I love the fact that their stamps can be used in a multitude of ways, especially if you love your scene building. Andi is the artist behind all the designs & Nigel promotes & shares all the stamp designs with us crafters/artists.

I have several more projects to share over the next week show casing the stamps in completely different style from fancy edged cards to art journal pages, so watch this space.

You can see the full range of stamps on offer HERE

Picture This Stamps also have an active Facebook Group sharing ideas, projects, new products & Hochanda TV show announcements. Why not pop up and become part of the Picture This Stamps community HERE

Right I need to get back to my Christmas prepping but the present heatwave is making it impossible to fully get in to the zone.

Take care everyone & keep the fluids up,

Lou
