A Day in Brighton - Rotating Memoirs by Tonic Studios

When this die set from Tonic Studios was first released, I knew knew what I wanted to do with the dies & one thing was to add photographs to my sample. I choose to catalogue one of our many outings with my lads to Brighton when we visited my parents.

You can see all the die sets within this collection in the Tonic Studios store ...

More details below & also a link to a FREE downloadable PDF instruction sheet.

A DAY IN BRIGHTON

My Rotating Memoir is just chocker full or should I say "rammed full" of photographs about a day out we had as a family in Brighton when visiting my parents. I have chosen lots of photographs of us all but also of places/images around Brighton too.

For my backing paper I have used a street map I collected from Tourist Information, which I think adds a real authentic feel to my project.

Each page has been decorated with oodles & oodles of the matching die cuts that are within the complete collection. Also at the very top of each page, I have die cut a wee border to hide the join & crease area.

My base has been constructed from Craft Perfect Kraft card & I have used a mixture of different Craft Perfect classic card in shades of blue.

I also made the conscious effort to decorate both sides of each page. That way when you turn the spindle, you always see a photograph/memory.

PDF INSTRUCTIONS

Sadly I cannot find the video I made for the project I am sharing today. However I have created a set of PDF instructions showing in clear steps how to put the Rotating Memoirs together. Each instruction has a photograph too. I'm a visual learner, so photographs were a definite must to include.

I'm hoping with all my fingers, toes & other crossable body parts, that when you click on the photo above, you will be taken to the PDF instructions ready for you to download for FREE.

TONIC STUDIOS KEEPSAKE ROTATING MEMOIR COLLECTION

This collection is made up of 3 separate die sets: Base Creator, Essential Accessory & Delicate Decoration.

Whilst all work together seamlessly, you can still create a beautiful Rotating Memoir just using the Base Creator set on their own.

I adored using these dies mainly because I think it was something different & also it created a memory which could be permanently on display. I also love the kinetic side of the die set too.

How do you display or share your memories? I'd love to know what methods you use, so please do share.

Until next time,

Lou
