Peek-a-boo cards using Polkadoodles Toadfully Cute & Sunshine Friends collections

Do you get crafty moments/ideas instantly that when you see stamp images?

I've really fell back in love with kinetic cards & that was after receiving 2 stamp set collections from Polkadoodles - Toadally Cute & Sunshine Friends.  The images spoke to me and said "make us move!".

I find you quite ribbitting

Okay ... you gotta agree that the sentiment is just superb! I knew it had to feature on my project. In fact it was the first thing I did - stamped, cut out & made a sentiment banner. This card has been made using lots of stamps & papers from  Toadally Cute collection

After a wee bit of stamping & colouring, I began creating my slider card components first adding the backing papers & then die cutting the apertures. I created a 6" x 6"square slider using 2 card blanks as my "leaping off" point - sorry couldn't resist adding the pun.

The longest part was deciding which image would go where in each of the reveal windows but once I stopped "faffing", putting the card together was super quick.

To show off the movement in my slider card, I've made a little reel showing how the card works but at the same time, you can see how the super cute images are just perfect for this design of card.

No matter the weather we're friends forever

The Sunshine Friends collection is just full of cheerful, fun images which can be used in multiple ways & I think I might have gone a little OTT with how many I have added to my card but couldn't decide who or what to leave out, so in the interest of fairness, added them all (hee, hee, hee).

For this card, I have used two 7" x 5" card blanks as my starting point, added the backing papers & cut away my apertures,

After finally deciding what was going to go where, I began adding my images, layering them on top of each other & raising a few with 3D foam.

As before, I'm sharing a very short reel, showing how the card looks when opened and closed. Being honest, I'm actually super chuffed how they turned out.

Will be popping by again sharing some more inspiration using these stamp collections and yep, might find one or two more kinetic styled cards too.

Until next time. Take care,

Lou
