The perfect match - Dreamcatcher dies from Sweet Dixie with Ciao Bella Paper Delta Collection

The Sweet Dixie Dreamcatcher die set work perfectly with the Ciao Bella Paper Delta Collection. In fact you would think that each of the brands had created a wonderful crafty collaboration.

Today I am sharing two cards I made using the die sets from Sweet Dixie and the papers & stamps from Ciao Bella Paper.

Links to all products used is at the bottom of this post.

Card #1

I began by using one of the beautiful papers from 12" x 12" Delta paper Pad and adding this to my 6" x 6" card front. Next I stamped out lots of the elements from Ciao Bella Paper "Keep the wild in you" stamp set using distress inks.

Next I die cut the Sweet Dixie Dreamcatcher dies multiple times in card and coloured all the elements with distress inks. I than began layering all my pieces up to create the look I wanted.

As a finishing touch I added a paper flower, a few decorative stamens & gold gems. The die cut word "Dream" is also from the Sweet Dixie Dreamcatcher die set. It was cut several times and layered on top of each other.

Card #2

Although the cards look very similar, there are slight difference. This time I have used a 7" x 5" card base and my background was created by embossing with the small dreamcatcher stamp image with white embossing powder - from Ciao Bella Paper "Keep the wild in you" stamp set. I then added a quick inky background using distress inks.

I die cut the Sweet Dixie Dreamcatcher die several times. One I have kept in white card to act as a shadow layer and the other coloured with distress inks. I added extra detail to the feathers using distress inks & a stencil.

In my first card, I added twine to the top of the dreamcatcher to give the illusion of it hanging down. For this card, I have cut away the hanging piece and just added the dreamcatcher as is. I have kept to the same finishing touches as for my first card but added the "Dream" die cut on top of the stamped & cut out images.

I really do love how the card turned out as they have a soft nature to them. They would also work for any handmade card occasion too. I'm actually now seeing how they would work as art journal pages too!

Hope you're creating is turning out to be a dream too 😉😂😍,

Until next time, take care & happy crafting,

Lou
