Quick background ideas using Shady Designs NEW Texture Stamps & stencils
Recently I released two new A6 stamp sets & three new A5 stencils to take you on to the next stage of your stamping journey with Shady Designs.
Texture Stamps
Why Texture Stamps? Shady Designs has been about created layered looking stamping without the need to either layer or mask. Also it was important to me that you didn't need a huge arsenal of inky products to create the look too.
The Texture Stamps are now the next step to being slightly braver with your stamping to begin creating quick, easy & achievable backgrounds, to then stamp over with your original Shady Design stamps & stencils..

What colours should I use?
I have taken inspiration from one of my backing papers from the Shady Designs Clean Inkings card & paper kit. Using these colours & the Texture Stamps, I created a very quick background on to a circular base using oxides inks.
The background has been created using the Shady Designs Framed Stencil #038 (one design) and 3 stamps from the Texture Stamps.
The card front is completed by stamping Shady Designs Nature's Curve on the front in Versafine Nocturne.
Using the same stamps & ink colours, I stamped on to my backing paper, cut the images out & layered them up with 3D foam. Gems and a sentiment were my finishing pieces.
Have you seen the new Texture Stamps yet? Watch this space as I have a few videos showing different ideas using the stamps alongside the original releases.
Thank you ever so much for popping by today; each visit is very much appreciated 💖
Until next time,
