Dolly Dimples Crafts Alter me die sets - card making idea by Lou Sims

For this card I decided to cut everything or at least 95% from coloured card. I created circle frames using dies from Alter me Pretty Flowers die set. In the centres I used the flower die that cuts in to the card from Alter Me Frame It dies set. I added the ribbon tags in different sizes, (Alter Me Ribbon Tags die set), with a sentiment. Extra embellishments are the waste pieces cut from the flower centres.

This project is actually a canvas and not a card. I have used lots of the leaf / petal shapes from the Alter Me Paper Leaves die set and cut them from coloured card. Dolly Dimples Crafts Alter me die sets - shabby chic tag idea by Lou Sims

For my last project, I thought it might be rather cool to create a shabby chic inspired tag. I have used the circle background die, (from Alter Me Frame It die set), to create a texture layer colouring with oxide inks. Then I have added a little bit of everything to my tag to create all the other additional layers. Some cut from card 7 other elements cut from white card & coloured with oxide inks.

All in all, I think I have made ELEVEN different projects using the dies as once I started, ideas came flooding to me. They really are versatile die sets and can take your crafty imagination anywhere.

I have two previous blog posts sharing 8 different card ideas using the Alter Me die sets and you can find them HERE and HERE

Many thanks for your company today and I look forward to seeing  you again,
