Ciao Bella Paper Sparrow Hill Collection - quick card ideas

Ciao Bella Paper's beautiful Sparrow Hill Collection has something for everyone. There are 12" x 12" papers, 8" x 8" papers, 6" x 6" Fussy Cut Pad, stencils & stamps too. For the cards I am sharing today, I have used 8" x 8" paper pad, 6" x 6" Fussy Cut pad and the Rose Bush stencil.

Happiness is Homemade

Using the Rosebush stencil, I embossed the design on my die cutting machine & then coloured the raised parts with Perfect Pearls. The panel I have used, I pre-cut before starting the embossing part.

Next I cut out lots of different elements from the 8" x 8" papers, plus additional embellishment pieces from 6" x 6" Fussy Cut Pad. I prefer to leave a little white border around my cut out elements. Main reason is that I find I can cut out everything quicker!

Some of the elements have been raised up with foam pads and others tucked behind all the layers. The photos show how much detail you get in both the papers & design elements.

Together is the perfect place to be

This time I covered the Rosebush stencil in clear ink and then placed my die cut panel on top. Using my embossing sandwich I ran it threw my die cutting machine. This left the ink on the recessed panels but raised up the rose features. Whilst the ink was wet, I colored it with Perfect Pearls. 

I raised my decorative panel up with 3D foam and added to my card base. As before, I cut out different focal elements from 8" x 8" papers adding them to my background.

Some of these elements have been raised using foam pads and others tucked under and over . As a finishing touch, I added a few faux pearl gems.

The Sparrow Hill Collection from Ciao Bella Paper is a beautiful soft colour palate. The imagery work beautifully with scrapbooking/memory books or perfect for card makers too.
