The NEW Kaleidoscope Collection from JMC Designs - YouTube Hop

Julia McNeill of JMC Designs is releasing a brand new stamp & stencil launch called "The Kaleidoscope Collection" and I was asked if I would like to be part of the YouTube Hop to celebrate the launch.

I decided to show how one background idea would work with any card design with the same stamps & stencils.

Any which way background idea !

For my projects I wanted to share that you could use one background idea and it would then work for any sized card. We all have our favourite shapes and sizes to work with. At the moment for me it is 7" x 5" or a DL card.

On the DL card, I have just elongated the light bulb wires from the Wings of Change stamp set and coloured them with a black micron pen. Using the Going Round in Circles stencil, I created the lit up spaces which were perfect to stamp the butterfly bulb.

The Going Round in Circles stencil also comes with the masks. This makes it perfect to cover the stamped areas and add additional stencil detail using Floral Vinyls. Both stencils are from JMC Designs. Both cards feature the same background stencil & stamping idea.

I have added extra butterflies from the Butterfly Style stamp set plus lots of subtle background stamping using the Star Dust stamp set. You can see how I used the latter on both the butterflies & the background in my YouTube video.

A little added sparkle with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen, Midas Touch plus a few (!) Nuvo sequins and the cards were finished. Sentiment is from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set.

What a privilege it was to be asked by Julia to be part of the Kaleidoscope Collection launch and fingers crossed, I hope I showed off the stamps in a unique way.
