Ciao Bella Paper Notre Vie Collection - memory book / album

I've been looking back at my older Ciao Bella Paper collections and realised that I had not created as much as I would have liked with the Notre Vie Collection. I decided to make a memory book/album.

My Memory Book/Album

Ciao Bella Paper have these wonderful chipboard album kits. They are incredibly sturdy & a fabulous weight. I have used just 2 pieces from the 5 that come in the kit, to create my album.

Although the chipboard pieces have holes on one side for jump rings, it doesn't mean you cannot use them with our more traditional hidden spines ... which is just what I did!

I have created pages within pages all at different sizes - flips & flaps is another way to describe them. The outer piece holds all the other pages in place and I have used magnets to do this.

The beautiful toppers included in all the different paper sizes, make perfect decorative closures or even areas to journal on. What's even better, is that they come in lots of different sizes too.

I have kept the closures for each page going in the same direction. I thought this gave the album a little continuity.

I do love how the pages start in different places, open in different ways and can become much bigger because of the latter.

Now the only thing I have left to do, is finish the last page and decorate the outside spine. I'm not sure how I want to do the spine yet as feel it would look fab it it had a curved out bit - as if it were a hardbacked book. What do you think?

I do try and take as many photos as possible but soon realised that all the photos I wanted to take was probably a little step to far!

Do you have a favourite Ciao Bella paper collection? Each time they bring out a new one, I think that is my favourite but in truth, I think I like them all ...!
