Card composition
Cut a piece of A4 card in half and stamp main floral image from Shady Designs Frame It With Flowers down one side of the card.
Next, rotate the same stamp making sure that the main petals from larger flower nestle between the image - there will be a little gap but this does not take away from the posy feel.
I have used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink because I knew I wanted to watercolour my images but if you want to use alcohol pens, use a Memento or hybrid ink instead.

Be fierce always
For this card, I stamped the same layout design as shown above with Versamark clear ink and embossed the outlines with WOW gold ultrafine powder. I also did a little embossing around some of the edges
I have loosely coloured the images with Ecoline brush pens letting the water spread the colour. The sentiment is from Ticker Tape #2 die set cut in white and then mounted on to a teal card.
As a finishing touch, I added some gold "flicks" and sequins. The finished card is A5 in size.

Today is as beautiful as you are
Following the instructions above, I stamped out the design using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then watercoloured the images using distress watercolour pencils.
I cut the card panel down to a finished size of 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" (15.5cm x 15.5cm). This makes my finished card, after mats & layers 6" x 6"
The distress watercolour pencils used were:
- Flowers: candid apple, crackling campfire & mustard seed
- Leaves: rustic wilderness & crushed olive
- Background: crushed olive & mustard seed

It is really hard to sum up my ideas for Shady Designs but if I can, simply,
- it is by minimal stamping you can create something with a "wow" factor.
- change the direction and the final pieces looks completely different again.
- allows you to create a layered looking project by only using one or two stamps
I really do want everyone to able to craft with all the stamp sets, stencils & die sets in a way that suits the way they create.
