Halloween Cardmaking: New silhouette stamps from Pink Ink Designs

Time has been running by me recently and I realised I had not shared my projects using the beautiful new silhouette stamps from Pink Ink Designs: Giselle, Moon Fairy & Puss In Boots.

If the boot fits, cackle

How super cool is that sentiment! I made a pumpkin shaped card on my Scan & Cut by welding 3 ovals together. Using a mix of oxide inks & sprays, I coloured the background.Using some of the smaller stamps, I added additional background layers using Versafine Clair Twilight & Rain Forest. These pumpkin shapes were then layered on top of each raising top with 3D foam pads.

I stamped Giselle in Versafine Clair Twilight and cut her out. I added additional colours using the same oxide inks to make my background. She was finished with a few white highlights using a Sakura white gelly roll pen.

I added Giselle to the front of my card, (with 3D foam pads) and a few other stamped images. I do really like how the images look stamped in blue rather than black. What do you think?

These boots are made for walking

How super cool is the Puss In Boots image? For this project I wanted to show that you could still use the image even if you did not stamp it perfectly. Where the ink is not the strongest, I have added watercolour inks to those gaps which makes a super highlight ... and also looks as if plan all along!

I stamped out the whole image, cutting it out. I stamped again but only want to use part of the image. I layered this on top of the main image with 3D foam pads to give more depth. The white gel pen was used to pick out lots of extra detail.

For the background, I have used Pink Ink Designs Spread It texture paste (black) and once dry, added an inky background using Pink Ink Designs Ink It inks. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

I love being a human but ...

Another super, corker of a sentiment! This sums up some of my days 😅 I have used the beautiful Moon Fairy for this card against a moody sort of background. The background has been made by embossing a stencil and then covering with Pink Ink Designs Wax Lyrical waxes. Gosh that'snot easy to say out loud!

Moon Fairy has been stamped on water colour card & coloured with Pink Ink Designs Ink It inks. After cutting the image out, I added to the background using gel medium.

I added the sentiment,a few toadstools, the stunning owl & a few stars as my finishing touches.

Let your dreams take flight

Halloween Cardmaking: New silhouette stamps from Pink Ink Designs

For this card I wanted to show that by changing the ink colours and layout, suddenly Halloween stamps could be used all year round. I used the pumpkin leaves to make the wreath and even the bat wings to make flowers!

The small fairy stamps are from Moon Fairy set which I have stamped and cut out. I added some shimmer to them and placed on the wreath. Finished with a sentiment and faux pearls.

These images are so pretty - not sure if that is the right adjective - and I do think could be used & inked up all year round. As for the sentiments, they definitely needed dusting off on a regular basis 😂

Thank you ever so much for popping over today: each visit means the world.

Until next time, take care,

Lou
