Christmas papercraft gifts with a difference: Unwrap unique handmade creations

As the festive season approaches, the quest for unique and thoughtful Christmas gifts takes center stage. While store-bought presents offer convenience, they often lack the personal touch that makes a gift truly special. Embark on a creative adventure with handmade Christmas papercraft gifts, transforming ordinary paper into extraordinary expressions of love and appreciation.

Handmade gifts can be handmade tags too!

The brief this month was to create handmade gifts. I really didn't want to make a box or gift bag and did struggle a little. In the end I decided that the gift wrapping would be my focus.

In my video, I showed how I made the tag for my gift and then the handmade bauble. The gift packaging became a gift too! I have used my Shady Designs Blooming Marvellous Collection with distress inks.

For my 2nd idea, I created a gift tag card with a matching handmade bauble. These have been stamped using Shady Designs Star Frame Flowers Collection and coloured with Prismacolor pencils.

My final gift tag has been made using Tim Holtz Christmas Idea-ology. I wanted to show case that you could also use your double sided papers too.

  2. Experiment with techniques: Explore different papercraft techniques, such as quilling, origami, paper folding or paper weaving. You can make unique designs and textures.

  3. Personalise your creations: Add personal touches to your papercraft gifts by incorporating elements that reflect the recipient's interests, hobbies, favourite colour or personality.
