Frame Your Imagination: Art journal page idea with Shady Designs' Frame By Frame stamp set

Shady Designs Frame By Frame stamp set:

• This is an A5 clear stamp set with a flower film strip design with a separate film cell to help build up your designs
• The stamp set was designed to create quick backgrounds for art journal pages or for your handmade cards.

Creative prompt ideas & techniques:

1. Framed Focal Points:

• Use the frames to create a central focus on your page, featuring quotes, illustrations, or mixed-media elements.
• Explore layering different frame stamps for a sense of depth and visual intrigue. 

2. Background Builders:

   • Experiment with stamping frames in various sizes and patterns to create a textured backdrop for your art journaling entries.
   • Use background techniques like watercolor washes or stenciling for added visual interest.

3. Journaling Prompts Within Frames:

   • Utilise the frames to contain written journaling entries.
   • Decorate the frames with embellishments or doodles to add your own personal touch.

Art journal page idea

Using a combination of the different prompts I share above, I created this A4 art journal page.

I have created different layers using the Frame By Frame stamps on to a water colour background. I also stamped out additional images, coloured them & cut them out ready to add to the page.

Extra layers of detail adding using Shady Design stencils: Film Strip & Boxed In. Over stamping using stamps from the Frame By Frame stamp set alongside Shady Designs A7 Hidden Layers & Leafing About background stamps.

I even used the small words found in the frames to create additional embellishments on my page.

This stamp set appears unassuming but believe me, it does pack a punch creatively. Quick ideas can be made which give the illusion that you have stamped more than you have to create the finished design. That was the goal I wanted to achieve from Shady Designs - maximum wow factor by only stamping a few times.
