Happy YOU Day

I do love that sentiment as can be used for multiple occasions. It comes with the Frame by Frame stamp set, along with the banner. For my card today, I decided to go a little "shabby chic" which isn't my normal style. I really wanted to try something different.

I began by adding a background using a mix of Shady Designs Framed & Numbers stencil with vintage photo distress oxide. I have stamped the separate frame, (that is included in the stamp set), with Fallen Leaves Versafine Clair on to the background. Using the same ink, added some leaves & floral elements to two of the frames.

On separate water colour card, I stamped out the main flower image from the larger frame stamp, cut it out and coloured with my Personal Impressions water colour pencils. This was then layered on to the middle frame.

As my finishing touches, I added a little lace and a sentiment. However, now I think it may need a few sequins! What do you think?
