What do you do if you do not have any paper crafting supplies that match a theme?

This is what I chose to feature on for my video. I decided to think of the colours each word made me think of: sunshine = yellow, showers = blue. All supplies used to make my cards can be found at the bottom of this post.

Card idea #1


I have used the colours to inspire my card using colours for my stamped images and backgrounds to match the words ie: blue & yellow. I have embossed a piece of parchment with the Shady Designs Hanging Garden stencil and sandwiched it between die cut frames.


The floral elements are from my Shady Designs Floral Frames stamp sets finished with a self-adhesive vellum sticker.

Card idea #2

Using the panels created when making my frames for card idea #1, I made another card still sticking to the same colours.


I have used the same ideas for this card as for card idea #1 but this time decorated the card blank rather than the parchment.
