What are Star Flower Frames?

When I designed these 2 stamp sets: Star Flower Frames & Starlight Flowers, I really wanted them to be about you all being able to create the frames &/or shapes you really wanted to make. Alternatively to be able to pattern build with the shapes ... in essence you create how you create!

 

There are 2 A5 stamp sets with 24 clear stamps in total. Although today I am sharing 5 ideas with you, the possibilities are so much greater.

To help kick start your journey with the Shady Designs Star Flower Frames, I created this FREE ideas booklet, with 5 frame inspired ideas. The photo below, gives you a wee look at the frame ideas you can download.

Card inspiration using idea #5

Not sure why I choose idea #5 but I think it was more about the shape, but then again ...! I have stamped the design on to mixed media card and water coloured the images with Personal Impressions Woodless Watercolour Pencils.

I have chosen to use Versafine Clair in Hawthorn Rose & Avocado rather than with a black outline. I think this shows the positioning of the different stamps.

The 6 sided star shape is made using just 2 of the stamps only. For my finished card, I have added extra decoration to the background using a sentiment stamp. I have also stamped out several other images as I wanted to layer these up with 3D foam.
