Why Celtic Whispers?

For those that do not know, I am blessed to have a huge dose of "Irish" within me and have always been mesmerised by the different Celtic designs I have seen in Ireland. When visiting mum, with my family, and we have travelled around Ireland, you cannot miss all the beautiful, plus varied designs.

I adore how the lines travel and cross over each other and how they then create wonderful, intricate designs. This led to me creating my own versions within my art journals. The first few attempts were a little "strange" but with practice, I can now see how the lines dance over one another.

Introducing Celtic Whispers Collection

The collection is all about layering and flow. All the elements in this collection have been hand drawn by me to begin with and then converted in workable images. 

Use the stamp sets: Celtic Circle & Celtic Square to create your own frames mixing and matching all the different elements. use the smaller elements to create unique backgrounds for all styles of crafting: card making, art journal pages, mixed media designs ...

The Celtic Square & Celtic Circle die sets have been designed to work with the stamp sets or as stand alone die sets. They are taken from my original hand drawings.

The Celtic Whispers Accessories consist of 2 stencils: Clocks & Moroccan Wiggle plus a sentiment collection. The #Celtic Whispers Sentiments are a mix of traditional card making sentiments & also quotes that can be used in your art journal pages, plus on mixed media projects.

Art Journal Page Idea

Sharing an A4 art journal page featuring Celtic Circle & Celtic Square stamp sets.

I have layered the Celtic half circle to make full and part circles. The inner part of each circle has been 

filled with lots of different stamped elements.

Next I have added different stamped images in a mix of Tsukineko Versafine Clair Portobello and Tsukineko Delicate Celestial Copper ink.

The background has been used Pretty Gets Gritty Explosion Powders alongside Dirty Gurty Drunken Dusts. The sentiment is from the Celtic Whispers Sentiment Collection.

I hope you are as super excited about this collection as much as I am. It has been a true labour of love - drawing, redrawing, tweaking but one I wouldn't change.
