Card project step by step

Materials:

Step-by-Step Tutorial:
  1. Create a Background: Start by blending distress inks around the edge of your 5.5" x 5.5" card to create a vibrant autumnal background.
  2. Stamp the Circles: Position the Oh So Circular stamps on the background and stamp using a darker ink colour. I chose to use Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves.
  3. Stamp the inner circle: With the smaller circle design, stamp first with the lighter distress inks and then again with the darker distress ink concentrating around the edges.
  4. Add Dimension: For a more textured look, consider embossing the main image with a coordinating embossing powder.
  5. Create a Focal Point: Stamp different accessory stamps, colour & cut out. Also choose a sentiment that suits the card which will be your focal point.
  6. Finishing Touches: Add any additional embellishments or details to complete your card.

This simple yet effective cardmaking project is a great way to embrace the beauty of autumn and create a unique and personalised card. Remember to have fun and experiment with different techniques and colour combinations. I had to try a different colour as loved how quickly the card came together.

Doesn't it look completely different in blue! Could even be a winter themed card. I've even shocked myself!
