Shady Designs Celtic Circle Stamps & Dies for WOW Cards

Discover the magic of combining Shady Designs' Celtic Circle stamp set with the coordinating die set to create stunning, layered cards. This blog post will share three unique card ideas, showcasing the versatility of the stamps & dies.


See below for each card and a step by step.

Project 1: Layered Luxury!

Supplies:
Shady Designs Celtic Circle die set
Shady Designs Celtic Circle stamp set
Shady Designs Celtic Whispers Sentiments 

  1. Die cut the largest outside die twice to create your card base.
  2. Die cut all the card layers, in 2 different colours and layer on top of each other. Ink around the edges of the outside layers.
  3. Stamp a range of different elements from Shady Designs Celtic Circle stamp set with Tsukineko Delicata Pink Shimmer ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Cut out.
  4. Also stamp a few other images with clear ink & emboss with gold powder. Again cut out.
  5. Layer all the stamped images in the centre of your card and finish with a sentiment from Shady Designs Celtic Whispers Sentiments Selection.

Project 2: Frame Worthy

Supplies:
Shady Designs Celtic Circle die set
Shady Designs Celtic Circle stamp set
Shady Designs Celtic Whispers Sentiments 


  1. Use the largest die as a frame for your card base cutting it twice. Using Crushed Olive oxide & Shady Designs Moroccan Wiggle stencil, decorate your card base.
  2. Stamp the Celtic Circle design directly on to your card base. This will be a guide to add other stamped images.
  3. Stamp out a range of different images from the Shady Designs Celtic Circle stamp set & colour with Worn Lipstick & Peeled Paint oxide inks.
  4. Die cut the largest Celtic Frame and add to your card base with 3D foam pads.
  5. Die cut the centre Celtic Knot die and place into the centre of your card. Add a sentiment from Shady Designs Celtic Whispers Sentiment Selection.
  6. Layer all your stamped images onto your card using stamped image on base layer to help with composition.

Project 3: Background Beauty

  1. Using the smaller outside edge die, create your card base by cutting twice.
  2. Using the Shady Designs Leafing About A7 stamp with Tsukineko Versafine Clair Avocado stamp down one side of your card base. Ink the edges with Peeled Paint oxide.
  3. Stamp different images from Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp set, colour & cut out on another piece of card.
  4. Add  circular sentiment to your card, (from Shady Designs Celtic Whispers Sentiment Selection), and arrange your stamped images to one side.

All of the above card ideas could be changed by 
  • using different colours, 
  • layering stamped images in a different way eg: to the top or bottom, 
  • die cutting layers in different coloured card
  • adding ribbon or lace for a textural feel.
