Beyond the Square: One Design, Endless Possibilities with Shady Designs

Who says a square stamp set is limited to creating square designs? Today, we're going to explore the versatility of the Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp set and create three unique cards, using the same layout, that go beyond the traditional square.

Card 1: Elegant and Timeless

• Colour Palette: Soft blues & greens

• Technique: Stamp just one edge of the Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp towards the right edge of your card: rotate and stamp again. This creates a vertical line. Stamp the sentiment stamp top & bottom. Add the flowers and sentiment.

Card 2: Vibrant and Playful

• Colour Palette: Bright and bold colours: orange, red, yellow & green

• Technique: Stamp just one edge of the Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp towards the left edge of your card: rotate and stamp again. This creates a vertical line. Stamp the sentiment stamp top & bottom in distress ink and blend out. Add the flowers and sentiment.

Card 3: Christmas Colours but not for Christmas!

• Colour Palette: Traditional red & greens

• Technique: Stamp just one edge of the Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp towards the left edge of your card: rotate and stamp again. This creates a vertical line. Mask the line you created and stamp the sentiment stamp from top & bottom. Add the flowers and sentiment.

As you can see, and what was really important to me when I designed the stamp set, was that the Shady Designs Celtic Square stamp set is incredibly versatile and can be used to create cards for any occasion PLUS they do not have to be square! By simply changing the layout, colours and sentiment, you can transform this design into something truly unique.
