Quick & easy giftboxes: use up those designer papers!

Hey there, crafty friends! Today, I'm stepping outside my usual art journaling and cardmaking comfort zone and sharing a fun project using We R Memory Keepers Box Board and the stunning Ciao Bella Paper Elegance of Blue collection.

I've always loved the versatility of the We R Memory keepers box board, but I often find myself gravitating towards the same projects: plain coloured card, ribbon & simple tag. So, I decided to challenge myself to create something a little different: a set of matching gift boxes!

Watch my YouTube video short to see the entire process and get inspired to create your own unique boxes!

I wanted to use the Ciao Bella Paper Elegance of Blue papers in a different way and the designs, I felt, were perfect for making wonderful decorative boxes especially as no glue is involved! The first box was made using just 1 sheet of 12" x 12" paper ...

The dark blue ribbon was a piece I had saved from a pair of PJ's I received! It has velcro on each end and turned out to be the perfect closing. The box was finished with a beautiful handmade tag using lots of elements from the Elegance of Blue Collection.

Using 2 different 8" x 8" papers from the same collection, I made 2 smaller boxes each finished with different ribbons and twine & of course, a handmade tag.

These little boxes are perfect for storing small treasures, like jewellery, keepsakes, or simply use them as Christmas decorations. PLUS ... fabulous way to use up your papers!

The We R Memory Box Board also makes rectangle boxes too with square papers! Being honest, I never knew that until recently and one I am going to try next.

Until next time, take care and a very Merry Christmas,

Lou
