Stamping with Nature: Exploring the New Timestamp Creations Collection
I have been counting down the days that I could officially share these with you! Today I'm excited to share a few projects featuring the brand new stamp sets from Timestamp Creations, the exciting new company founded by the incredibly talented Janice Phillips.
One for sorrow, two for joy ...
- I created a quick inky background with the oxides, splashed on some water & gold paint.
- Using the sentiment from the Magpies stamp set with abandoned coral, stamp down one side of your tag.
- With Versafine Clair Morning Mist, stamp the background using the larger image from Relax & Recharge. Repeat again using Versafine Clair Nocturne.
- Using the main focal stamp from the Magpies set, stamp so that the top is above your background in Versafine Clair Nocturne. To make the pole longer, ink up the bottom part of the pole only and add.
- Extend any of the lines using a black micron pen.
- Add the smaller Magpie images to one of the wires and using a white gel pen, colour in the white areas on the magpies.
- On a separate piece of card, stamp out the sentiment and the numbers 1 to 7. Cut these out and stick to the tag.

Every day there is a new sky
- I created a quick inky background with abandoned coral and mustard seed in the middle of the tag. With hickory smoke, I created the shadow areas top & bottom.
- With Versafine Clair Morning Mist, stamp the background using the larger image from Relax & Recharge to frame the middle colours.
- With Versafine Clair Nocturne, stamp the background using the larger image from Relax & Recharge at the top & bottom of the tag.
- Add a magpie to one of the branches. Using a white gel pen, colour in the white areas on the magpie.
- Add the sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne.
Always Look Up
- I created a quick inky background with mustard seed & salty ocean dabbing the ink on to the tag from my blending mat.
- Using the Timestamp Alphabet create a random background by partially inking the stamp. I used broken china first followed by salty ocean. You can leave all the letters & numbers in place on the carrier sheet for this technique
- With Versafine Clair Twilight, stamp the image from Always Look Up towards the bottom of the tag.
- Using the same colour Versafine Clair ink, stamp the main image from the Magpie stamp set so that it appears to be on top of the castle.
- Again using Versafine Clair Twilight, ink just the foliage parts from the Relax & Recharge larger stamp. Add these in places down the sides of the tag.
- Die cut or punch out a small circle. Colour with mustard seed & spiced marmalade. Stamp the top portion of the Magpie image on to the circle. Stick in place. With a blending brush & mustard seed, go around the outside of the circle.
- Optional extra: using the sentiment "Always Look Up", stamp down one side of the tag with salty ocean.
- Finish by extending the lines and adding the sentiment.

I had so much fun bringing these images to life. The quality of the stamps is exceptional, (made in the UK by Clarity) and the detail is simply breath taking. I found myself easily drawn into the scenes, creating layers and adding subtle shading to enhance the natural beauty of each image.
Janice officially launches Timestamp Creations TODAY.
There will also be a Facebook Live today at 8pm show casing the stamps in detail and also different samples made using them. You can see the live HERE.
Thank you ever so much for popping over today an until next time, take care,
xxx
