Susan's Garden Die Collection Inspirational Mini Hop

Happy Wednesday everybody and boy oh boy do we have a wonderful set of dies as the WednesDIE Deal from Tonic Studios - ALL the Susan's Garden Club dies.

To celebrate this weeks deals & share new inspirational ideas with you, we are having a ...

The blog hop began at the Tonic Studios blog and the next step on the way, was my blog - Lou Sims. You can check out my projects below & all the details needed to join in with the blog hop.

BLOG HOP ORDER
Below you will find all the crafters taking part in this blog hop.
The next person you need to visit on this hop will be Vicky - Victoria Dalziel

MY PROJECTS
My inspiration when using these dies was to create the flowers and folaige with different materials not just card. I have upcycled a baby wipe & kitchen towel, plus also used rice paper. You can see all the different materials in my video and also a closer look in different blog posts ... didn't want to bombard you with lots of photos and blurb.

To stop making this post too long, I have also created separate posts about each of my projects which contain greater details & extra photos too. I will put a link under each project.

Click on link below to see how I created my cards using the different materials

PROJECT ONE
I have used Helleborus or Christmas Rose, with foliage from Holly & Berries die set. The flowers have been made using rice paper coloured with Nuvo shimmer powders & mists

PROJECT TWO
I have used Pom Pom Dahlia & Beauty Berry Bush from Susan's Garden Club. Again using rice paper for the flowers but foliage created using upcycled baby wipe; both coloured with Nuvo shimmer powders & mists. You can read more about this project in a separate post HERE

PROJECT THREE
Spider Mums are the featured flower on my card & I have used the kitchen paper to create my flowers, which has also be coloured with Nuvo shimmer powders and mists. You can read more about how I create this card in another post HERE.
