Polkadoodles Serenity Fairy stamp collection - 8 card making ideas

Today I'm sharing a selection of cards I have made using the gorgeous Serenity Fairy stamp images from Polkadoodles using the colours within the Spring Surprise & Springin' Around paper pack as my reference to colour the images.

SERENITY FAIRY PRINCESS

• Enjoy the little moments

Using the main colours from two of the backing papers from the Spring Surprise paper pack as my colour guide, I grabbed my Faber Castell Pencils & coloured the Serenity Fairy Princess image. After colouring her, I added a little gold sparkle with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen.

All the floral elements have been cut out from another one of the backing papers in the Spring Surprise paper pack which add perfect colour co-ordination. The sentiment is from Polkadoodles Perfect Wishes clear stamp set.

• Flowers spring up where friends have walked

I simply couldn't resist making another card using Serenity Fairy Princess & again, used the colours from the backing papers as my guide. As before a little extra sparkle was added with a Nuvo Shimmer pen.

I've placed the adorable Serenity Fairy Princess on to a heart die cut and surrounded her with flowers - again cut from a backing paper from the same paper pack. The sentiment is from the Spring Wishes clear stamp set.

SERENITY DAISY DANCE

• Wishing you all the happiness in the world

As is the theme with this blog post, the beautiful backing papers from Springin' Around were my colouring guide for Serenity Daisy Dance. As with the two cards above, she has been coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos .

Using the Flowers Borders stencil, I created a larger background using my oxide ink pads. To keep the colour match, the flowers surrounding her have been cut from a backing paper. The sentiment is from Sentimentals clear stamp set.

• Daisy Flower Parade

Using one of the beautiful bird & flora backing papers from Spring Surprise paper pack, I used the colours as my colour guide not just for Serenity Daisy Dance but also for the die cut embellishments.

Using a selection of dies from Polkadoodles: Delicate Daisy Border, Delicate Daisy Cluster & Squarey Swirly Hearts, I created all the different die cut embellishments. These have either been cut from complimentary card colours or from the backing papers.

SERENITY MAGICAL

• Just one kind word is like a Spring day

The beautiful blues, greens & yellows were my colour palate for Serenity Magical. She has again been coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos however this time I went "off piste" and coloured the toadstool in slightly more clashing colours.

Serenity Magical is surrounded by die cut flowers and borders all using Polkadoodles dies: Delicate Daisy Cluster, Flower Flourish & Toadstool Border. To add a touch of "bling" I've added a few sparkle buttons to the flower centres. The sentiment is from Spring Wishes clear stamp set.

• Among the flowers

Serenity Magical this time has been coloured with Copic markers as I wanted to see how she looked coloured with a different medium. This time the backing paper has been used more as a backing paper rather than a colouring guide.

Again lots of different die cuts from Polkadoodles have been used: Delicate Daisy Cluster, Flower Flourish  & Super Sprigs - either cut from complimentary card or the Spring Surprise backing papers. A few buttons & Nuvo drops were the final embellishment.

SERENITY BUTTERFLY DREAM

I have already shared a blog post using Serenity Butterfly Dream but rather than creating cards using this adorable stamp, I have made 2 journal pages. The layout & embellishments are the same, the only thing different is the colours.
