Deck the Halls with Idea-ology! Festive Decoration Ideas - Part #3

Unveiling the Idea-ology Christmas Charm:

Tim Holtz's Idea-ology isn't just about supplies; it's about embracing a philosophy of creative freedom. Here's another idea from me on how you can infuse your Christmas decorations with its unique flair. These decorations are all about throwing perspective out the window and just adding what you want to add!

A Trio of Christmas Domes

Oh my I had a blast creating my mini scenes for these domes adding lots f the different Christmas Idea-ology 2023 items inside them. I think I have added a little bit of all the releases somewhere! There are 2 large Christmas domes & a smaller one.

For this dome I worked from the centre outwards and to make sure I could add the glass dome back on, I drew a faint pencil line which was the furthest point I could stick to! I have used an Idea-ology Baseboard Chipboard for my arch way, cutting it down to size. Once stuck in place I began decorating.

The trees have been sprayed with Frosty Mint Distress Mica Spray, (Holiday set #3) and when dry, snow paste was added. They have been stuck down with gel medium. Then it was about filling those gaps!

Now this large dome has a set of tiny lights woven in and out of all the embellishments. It's construction is very similar to the first dome but you can see other elements peering through the window.

I used oodles and oodles of the Idea-ology Confections as thought they fitted the scene. There is also a mini, mini dome inside full of lights & white stamens.

The smaller dome, I have kept quite simple. The woodland tree has been sprayed with Distress Mica Stain Sugary Gumdrop, (Holiday set #3) and then Idea-ology Baubles & Confections stuck on top. I added a few stamen heads in amongst the branches. A couple of paper roses were added as finishing touches.

Now to see them lit up with the Idea-ology Tiny Lights...

I am seriously in love with these decorations and can't wait to display them with the other Christmas Idea-ology decorations I have made.
