Sticks & Bones Dinosaur themed album - printable download collection from Polkadoodles - Part 3
Today I am sharing the last few pages in my Sticks & Bones mini album plus a cute card made using one of the digital character images from the collection.
You can check out all the Sticks and Bones range of digital goodies HERE.
OVER VIEW
When Nikky brought out the Sticks and Bones collection, I knew straight away what I wanted to do. A quick print of several design sheets, digi images, sentiments and a few paper designs, my mini album came to life. All the pages have been made using 12" card and folded in different ways to create hidden pockets and openings. All were hand sewn on to the spine and then the cover was added.
Very few "real" embellishments have been added and I have tried to rely on the embellishments from the collection. As an added "extra" (or faff as my family would call it), I have covered all the inner spine with frayed hessian. I think this adds to the prehistoric feel/theme.
Finally, the collection has a mixture of boy & girl stone age images. How cool is that?
A QUICK RE-CAP
This is a 7" x 7" album, with a 1cm gap between the 6" x 6" pages. I have used 12" x 12" card creating folds to make hidden pockets, flips & flaps. All my elements, pages etc have been printed off on Polkadoodles Ultimate Graphic paper - perfect for this task.
My previous shared up to page 8 & 9 - see HERE - and today I'm sharing the remainder of the pages.
PAGES 10 & 11
Pages 10 and 11, in comparison to some of the other pages, are a little boring as they have been mat and layered ready for photos and journaling but can you see something peeking out of the top?
PAGES 12 & 13
Page 12 and 13 (back inside cover) have been designed to mat photos straight to the frame areas. On page 13, (which is the back inside cover), I have used various small scraps of papers (from previous pages) and created a patch work effect background. Great way to use up those scraps.
That's it. The total album from front cover to back. Seriously, it would make such a cool project to do with the children whilst they are off. Children are very adapt on PCs nowadays and could probably manipulate the colours ans designs before printing. There you go, ICT lesson covered 😏
YOUTUBE VIDEO
I say video but it isn't a video showing how I made the album. I have created a video slide show of all my photos. Click on image below ...
MY CARD
I have taken one of the black & white digi images and coloured it with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils. She has then been cut out and matted on to different card mats.
I've chosen a cave girl image but there are cool cave boy images in the collection too.
STICKS & BONES COLLECTION
Oh my this collection can be bought as a huge bundle with over 450 printables (*approx):

I have created a secret pocket for either a photo page or any memorabilia you might have. However for this mini album, I have made a pull out page too ...
I though the cool Pterodactyl image would make a great image to use to pull the page ut of the top opening pocket. Sadly I didn't photograph the other side as I manipulated the image so that it also appears on the reverse side.
