Transforming art journal spreads into captivating cards
Art journaling is a beautiful journey of self-expression. But what happens to those cherished pages once filled? Here's how to unlock their hidden potential and transform them into stunning greeting cards:
Here's where the magic happens! Let's explore ways to transform your art journal page into a greeting cards. I am using Pink Ink Designs Flight of the Bumble Bee stamp set and full list of everything used can be found at the bottom of this post.
Identifying card worthy elements:
- Focal points: Look for captivating elements within your art journal spread that could serve as the central focus on a card. This could be a vibrant floral design, an abstract pattern, or an intriguing collage.
- Colour palettes: Consider the overall colour scheme of your spread. Can specific colour combinations be repurposed for a cohesive card design?
- Sentiments & themes: Does your art journal page evoke a particular emotion or theme? This can guide you in choosing appropriate sentiments or embellishments for your card.
